De Rimola

Site and shop for a gourmet Brazilian grill service: menus organised by occasion, and orders that land straight in WhatsApp.

What it solves

  • Catalogue split by occasion (VIP, Express, Kids) instead of one long list of dishes.
  • The cart ends in a WhatsApp order: zero friction for a business that already sold there.
  • Per-product minimum quantities, because a grill service isn't sold by the unit.

De Rimola is a gourmet Brazilian grill service operating nationwide. The business was already selling, and selling well, through WhatsApp and social media. What was missing wasn’t a new sales channel, but somewhere the full menu could be seen without having to ask someone for a photo of it.

The approach

Menus by occasion, not a list of dishes. The offer is organised the way the customer thinks about it: Grill Masters VIP for exclusive cuts, Los Favoritos for people who don’t want to decide, Express for something quick, and Kids for children’s parties. Each is a different way into the same menu.

The cart doesn’t replace WhatsApp, it feeds it. This was the most debated decision. A full checkout with a payment gateway was possible, but this business closes by talking: date, headcount and location all need coordinating. So the cart assembles the order and hands it to WhatsApp already formatted, where the conversation already worked. Less friction, and no abandonment inside a payment gateway.

Per-product minimums. A grill service isn’t quoted by the unit. The shop enforces minimums and increments per product, so orders that can’t be fulfilled never come in.

How it’s built

WordPress with WooCommerce on the Astra theme, laid out in Elementor, with a WhatsApp ordering plugin. It runs on Hostinger with LiteSpeed and server-side caching.

Choosing WordPress was deliberate. A barbecue menu isn’t a fixed catalogue: dishes change, prices change, and so do the minimums per service. WooCommerce absorbs all of that without touching templates or laying anything out again, so a new season is a matter of editing data rather than rebuilding the site.
